Responsibilities
Attend two annual meetings during August and March in St. Louis, MO.
Discuss and recommend positions on potential and/or proposed NCAA legislation.
Review and recommend Conference regulations and policies, including sport and academic issues.
Consider other issues affecting Conference-wide aspects of student-athlete welfare.
Communicate with NCAA and other conference SAACs about issues of national importance.
Consult with institutional SAACs in determination of conference-level positions.
Foster an environment that values cultural diversity and gender equity among student-athletes.
Promote excellence and a positive image for the Conference.
